Editorial body
Language matters.
“Supplier” is useful.
“Dealer” is useful.
“Trader” is useful.
But material holder conveys something else.
It says:
the asset exists;
we have custody or ownership;
we can hold it;
we can allocate it;
we can decide when not to transact.
That final point matters.
A petitioner needs approval.
A holder needs terms.
This is the commercial posture future source-side firms must understand.
Not arrogance.
Not hostility.
Not false scarcity.
Simply asset discipline.
We are not asking whether the stone deserves to exist in your market.
We are discussing whether a transaction makes sense.
Much calmer.
